SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of image formation, and more specifically to a device for forming a colour image. Result is achieved by the fact that the device for forming a colour image comprises assembling image sensors to form a colour image, wherein said assembly comprises three monochromatic sensors arranged side by side, each of which consists of a plurality of pixels, wherein all pixels of one sensor are pixels of one colour range, R, G, B, respectively, wherein each monochromatic sensor is coated with a single-color interference filter, providing complete separation of red, blue and green spectral ranges, and a unit for processing received signals from three monochromatic sensors, configured to algorithmically convert images from sensors to obtain one colour image and output the obtained colour image to a display.
EFFECT: high resolution of CMOS sensor for mobile form factor, as well as high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
