SUBSTANCE: invention relates to profile bending machine (9) for formation of corrugation (2) in metal plate (1) intended for construction of moisture-impermeable membrane of reservoir for storage of liquid. Profile bending machine (9) comprises lower frame (11), lower matrix comprising first and second matrix elements (15, 16) mounted on lower frame (11), with possibility of sliding in direction "x", upper punch (12), first and second hold down elements (24, 25) of matrix and auxiliary means (36, 37), adapted to facilitate movement of first and second matrix elements (15, 16) into closed position.
EFFECT: reduced friction between contact element and metal plate.
