SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an angular part (2) intended for the manufacture of a sealing membrane (3) for a tank, this angular part (2) includes a first flange (11) and a second flange (12), which are inclined relative to each other at an angle α from 1° up to 179° inclusive and which are connected at the level of the bend line (13), while the corner part (2) includes a corrugation (17) crossing the bend line (13) and extended from one end of the corner part (2) to the other, and the corrugation (17) includes: a first section (18) formed in the first flange (11); second section (19); a central section (20) formed on either side of the first flange (11) and the second flange (12); the central section (20) has, in section along a plane passing through the fold line (13), a profile having the shape of an inverted letter W, including a concave recess (24) and two convex protrusions (22, 23) located in the transverse direction on respective opposite sides of said concave recess (24).
