DEVICE FOR CLOSED OSTEOSYNTHESIS OF PELVIC FRACTURES AND ROD FIXATION OF PELVIC BONES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/68 A61B17/86 A61B17/90

Abstract RU 2736839 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. Device for closed osteosynthesis of pelvic fractures comprises a C-shaped manipulator, detachably connected to the rod fixation of bones. Middle part of manipulator has cantilevered lower part. Upper part of manipulator is made in form of conductor, detachably fixed on it parallel to lower part. In the conductor there are two through holes with parallel vertical axes. Said holes in conductor are arranged with alternate installation of detachable tubular trocar with flanging, outer diameter of which provides its free movement in holes of conductor. Said rod-shaped bone fixator has a bone attachment point and a bone fragments fixation area and is fixed in a mounting position by a centring device made on its end face and conjugated with a mating member on end of said lower part of manipulator made hollow. Area of fixation of fragments of bones of the rod fixture throughout its attachment zone to the rounded end face has the reduced cross-section in relation to the last. Cavity in said lower part of C-shaped manipulator is configured to accommodate rod with handle on one end and with thread on other end, coupled with threaded hole in rod lock. In the fixation zone of the rod fixator, one and two holes are selectively made depending on the place of osteosynthesis. Middle part of the manipulator is inclined at an angle to the vertical towards the end of the conductor and has from above a mounting platform moulded with side cuts, the distance between which is equal to the width of the recess in the conductor, which is open from the end and from below, the length of which is not less than the length of the end surface of the handle. From above on said site there are aligning pins on both sides of threaded hole for connection with conductor, on upper surface of which there are corresponding through holes for pins and connecting bolt. Mounting area of rod lock is conic with angle of 5–9° at distance of 20–70 mm from its end, centring means on which is made in form of at least one protrusion on end of retainer inserted into a corresponding recess in lower part of manipulator, wherein diameter of adjoining cylindrical surface of lower part of manipulator is equal to outer diameter of conjugated cylindrical outer surface of said projection. Cross-section of attachment zone of rod lock is shaped to flat geometrical figure. Above trocar is equipped with a detachable guide tube with an inner hole, the diameter of which provides for free movement of a drill in it for holes for locking screws and a detachable stitch for counterforming of the bone under the heads of the above locking screws. Pelvic bone rod fixator comprises an area of fixation of bone fragments and an area of attachment of the rod fixator to the bone by means of through holes made therein. Said attachment zone is tapered with angle of 5–9° at distance of 20–70 mm from the end of the retainer, on which a centring device is made in the form of at least one protrusion on the fixator end inserted in the process of osteosynthesis into a corresponding recess in the lower part of the manipulator. Diameter of adjacent cylindrical surface is equal to outer diameter of conjugated cylindrical outer surface of said ledge. Cross-section of the fixation zone of bone fragments of the rod retainer has the shape of a flat geometrical figure, and its free end is made in the form of a cone with a rounded end.

EFFECT: inventions provide reduced traumatism when removing fixing rods and reduced duration of the recovery process.
