FIELD: plastic molding under pressure.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of increasing injection rate of a device for casting molten plastic under pressure. Technical result is achieved by a method of increasing injection speed of a device for casting molten plastic under pressure into a molding cavity. At that, the injection molding device contains the first cylinder, which is equipped with a tubular casing, which determines the first internal diameter d₁, and a first piston configured to slide inside said tubular jacket and configured to load and inject molten plastic towards the molding cavity. Second cylinder connected to first cylinder, equipped with second piston, rod of which is connected to first piston, and configured to actuate the first cylinder during the injection operation. At that, the method includes disconnection of the second cylinder and the first cylinder by means of extraction of the first piston from the tubular casing. Then, coaxial insertion of tubular element defining second inner diameter d₃, which is smaller than first inner diameter d₁, into tubular casing. First piston is disconnected from the rod. Connection of third piston with rod. Third piston has such size that it could slide inside the tubular element. Connection of the second cylinder and the first cylinder by means of the third piston insertion into the tubular casing.

EFFECT: technical result is higher injection speed of device for injection of molten plastic by simple and affordable method.
