FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an injection-compression apparatus for manufacturing thermoplastic containers. Technical result is achieved by an injection-compression apparatus for manufacturing thermoplastic containers, in particular preforms made of polyethylene terephthalate having a vertical pivot axis. Apparatus comprises a fixed supporting base, a rotary carousel rotating around a vertical pivot axis relative to the fixed supporting base. Plurality of molds for injection-compression of thermoplastic containers are located along the periphery of the rotary carousel. Plurality of lateral feeding conduits for molds for injection-compression rotating with the carousel. Distribution device connecting a fixed supporting base with the rotary carousel in order to provide transportation of molten thermoplastic material. Wherein the apparatus includes a channel, fixed and coaxial with a vertical pivot axis, adapted to have a connection from the inlet to the extruder and from the outlet to the plurality of lateral feeding conduits. Molds for injection-compression from said plurality are assembled together in injection-compression modules with two or more molds for injection-compression in each module. Each injection-compression module has a single lateral feeding conduit. Wherein the injection-compression apparatus is configured to perform a series of steps of the molding process at the same time in two or more molds for injection-compression of each of injection-compression apparatus modules.
EFFECT: increased productivity of the apparatus without deteriorating the quality of castings.
