SUBSTANCE: disclosed is linen processing device, which directly heats drum containing linen, and which has improved efficiency and safety. Linen processing device includes drum made of metal material and provided for linen placement in it, induction module located at a distance from circumferential surface of drum and provided for heating circumferential surface of drum by means of magnetic field generated when current is supplied to coil, elevator provided in drum for movement of linen inside drum during drum rotation, and a modular controller configured to control the output power of the induction module to control the amount of heat generated from the peripheral surface of the drum. Modular controller variably controls amount of generated heat on the basis of elevator position changing, which occurs during drum rotation.
