SUBSTANCE: device for processing objects and, in particular, an object processing device designed to heat a drum using an induction heater and a method for controlling it are disclosed. The device for processing objects includes a tank; a drum located inside the tank with the possibility of rotation and accommodating an object; an induction heater located on the tank and made with the possibility of heating the outer peripheral surface of the drum in contact with the heater; a motor for rotating the drum; and a processor made with the ability to control the operation of the induction heater for drying an object, while the processor is made with the ability to control the rotation speed (revolutions per minute) of the drum to perform at least three drum movements having at least three different target rotation speeds, respectively, when drying the object.
