FIELD: gypsum-based materials; gypsum-based panels.
SUBSTANCE: invention contains a gypsum-based panel and a method of making the panel. Panel has a gypsum matrix with additives embedded therein. Additives used are glass fiber in an amount of more than 1 wt % and less than 6 wt % relative to the gypsum; synthetic polymer binder in amount of more than 2.5 wt % and less than 25 wt % relative to gypsum. Total weight of additives embedded in gypsum matrix is less than that of gypsum in gypsum matrix. Weight ratio between glass fiber and synthetic polymer binder makes at least 4 parts of binder per one part of fiber. Amount of sand in gypsum matrix ranges from 0 to 0.5 wt % with respect to gypsum. Gypsum matrix does not contain cellulose fiber. Proposed method comprises stages of plaster mass provision and provision of mass setting. Plaster mixture contains glass fibers and synthetic polymer binder. Weight does not contain lime. Plaster mass provision stage includes addition of water to the gypsum plaster in an amount which is less than twice that of the gypsum plaster.
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a panel capable of retaining fasteners and suspension equipment, which does not require prolonged installation.
