FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to conversion equipment, and can be used in designing secondary electric power sources for electrical and radioelectronic equipment for various purposes. Single-phase full-wave rectifier with middle point, comprising transformer with secondary winding consisting of two semi-windings, two straight diodes, two reverse diodes and two filter throttles, anodes of direct diodes are connected to free terminals of semi-windings of secondary winding of transformer, cathodes of direct diodes are connected to load through own throttle of filter, cathodes of reverse diodes are connected to cathodes of direct diodes, and anodes of reverse diodes are connected to middle point of rectifier.
EFFECT: reduced volume and weight, higher efficiency of single-phase full-wave rectifier with middle point due to reduced amplitude of current pulses flowing through diodes, windings of transformer and filter throttles and increase of capacity factor of transformer as a result of this.
