FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, converting equipment, and can be used in designing secondary power supplies for various purposes. Voltage converter comprises two identical power cascades made according to any circuit, which are rectifiers, units of pulse voltage stabilizers or power conversion cells, filter choke with two windings, output capacitor and control device. Power cascades are connected in parallel at the input and at the output, outputs of the power cascades are connected to the load through the windings of the filter choke, which are connected in anti-parallel manner. Outputs of control device are connected to control input of power cascades, and input of control device is connected to load.
EFFECT: reducing the volume and weight of the filter choke included in the voltage converter, due to a significant increase in its equivalent inductance by introducing a second power cascade into the circuit in addition to the first cascade, and in the filter choke — the second winding connected in anti-parallel with the first winding.
