FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, to converter equipment, and can be used in designing secondary electric power sources for various purposes. Low-voltage multiphase rectifier comprises transformers with a primary winding and m secondary windings connected into a multiphase beam star, m forward and m backward diodes, p independent throttle valves with k windings, and an output capacitor connected in parallel to the load. The anodes of the forward diodes are connected to the free terminals of the secondary windings of the transformer, forming n m0-phase simple full-wave or three-phase centre-tap rectifiers. The ends of all the windings of the throttle valves are connected to the terminal to connect the load. The cathodes of each forward and backward diode are connected to the beginning of one of the windings of the throttle valve linked with said forward diode of the simple rectifier. The anodes of the backward diodes are connected to the centre tap of the rectifier, connected to the other terminal to connect the load. The number of rectifier phases m, the number of throttle valves p, and the number of windings thereof k are interrelated by the ratio m=p·k.
EFFECT: reduced volume and mass of elements of the low-voltage multiphase rectifier with multiple independent throttle valves due to the reduction in the volume and mass of the transformer achieved by applying m rectifying circuits consisting of a secondary transformer winding and a forward diode and by adding backward diodes and additional throttle windings, as well as increased performance coefficient of the rectifier due to the reduced amplitude and increased duration of pulses of the current flowing through the elements of the rectifier.
