FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, converter technology, and can be used in the design of secondary power supplies for electrical and electronic equipment for various purposes. A polyphase rectifier with several independent filter chokes contains n simple rectifiers and n filter chokes, the number of which is either a multiple of two or three, connected to the parallel-connected output capacitor and the total load through the main and compensating windings of its own choke. The number of turns of the windings are equal to each other. The end of the main winding of each choke is connected to the end of the compensating winding of the choke connected to the output of another simple rectifier, i.e. the main and compensating windings are turned on in the opposite direction, and the beginning of the compensating windings of all chokes are connected to the load.
EFFECT: reducing the volume and weight of various multiphase rectifiers with several independent filter chokes by reducing the volume and weight of a set of chokes by eliminating a non-magnetic gap in their magnetic circuit and introducing a compensating winding.
