FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to methods for production of biologically active product of sea herbs of ZOSTERACEAE family. ZOSTERACEAE sea herbs processing method for production of biologically active product in the form of powder includes milling, cavitation of the mixture of milled raw material and water, taken in ratio of 1:1-1:2 with subsequent evaporation of water at temperature of 60-70°C to moisture content of 4-6% and repeated grinding of dried raw material. Alternatively, a method for processing sea herbs of the ZOSTERACEAE family to produce an extract includes milling, cavitation of the mixture of milled raw material and water, taken in ratio of 1:1-1:2 with subsequent evaporation of water at temperature of 60-70°C to moisture content of 25-30% and additional grinding to size of 5-10 mm and extraction. Extraction is carried out with 80-96% alcohol at temperature of 20-40°C at ratio of alcohol to raw material of 1:1-1:2, for 30 days with subsequent filtration to separate liquid extract from extraction cake and separation of alcohol from obtained extract.
EFFECT: invention allows to extend the range of biologically active substances of sea grass in the product composition.
