SUBSTANCE: method for the complex processing of sea grass of the Zosteraceae family with the production of rosmarinic acid, 7.3'-disulfate of luteolin and ferulic acid within the framework of one process cycle is that the sea grass of the Zosteraceae family, freshly cut or defrosted, is desalinated, extracted with a 0.1 N hydrochloric acid solution in the ratio of raw material: extractant 1:(1.2-2) at room temperature for 8-12 h with stirring, the extract is drained, filtered, concentrated and applied to a column with polychrome-1, the column is washed with distilled water and rosmarinic acid is eluted with a 5-7% aqueous solution of ethanol, the eluate is evaporated and lyophilized, then the residue of the sea grass of the Zosteraceae family is washed with distilled water, extracted with a 0.1 N solution of sodium bicarbonate in the ratio of raw material: extractant 1:(1.2-2) at room temperature or cooling to 4°C for 8-12 h with stirring, the extract is filtered, concentrated and applied to a column with polychrome-1, the column is washed with distilled water and 7.3' luteolin disulfate is eluted with 10% aqueous solution of ethanol, the eluate is concentrated in vacuo and lyophilized, then the residue of the sea grass of the Zosteraceae family is hydrolyzed with 1.0 N NaOH or KOH alkali solution in the ratio of raw material: extractant 1:1 at 70-80°C for 4-8 hours with stirring, the hydrolyzate is drained, cooled to room temperature, filtered, neutralized with 5% sulfuric acid to pH 6-7 and left for a day at room temperature, the precipitated ferulic acid is separated by centrifugation or filtration, drained with chilled distilled water and dried.
EFFECT: possibility to carry out complex processing of sea grass of the Zosteraceae family with the production of several biologically active polyphenolic compounds, such as rosmarinic acid, 7.3'-disulfate of luteolin and ferulic acid.
