SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a device of a hydraulic transformer. Hydromechanical transmission includes control elements and multistage hydraulic converter. Torque converter comprises in-series centrifugal pump wheel, communicated with drive shaft, arranged in working fluid circulation circle, turbine wheel of the first stage of axial type and turbine wheel of the second stage of centripetal type, connected to the driven shaft by means of individual controlled couplings. Centrifugal pump impeller and the centrifugal type second stage turbine wheel are located opposite to each other and are equipped with individual reactors switching devices, the number of which is equal to the number of turbine wheels. Axial-type turbine wheel of the first stage is connected with a permeable for working liquid wheel with holes installed between reactors and connected with an intermediate shaft and a brake.

EFFECT: enabling unification of self-propelled vehicle transmission structure.
