FIELD: hydraulics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a torque converter. The torque converter is comprised of a centrifugal pump wheel connected with the drive shaft, a first centripetal turbine wheel connected with the driven shaft, a reactor, and a second axial turbine wheel, arranged consecutively in the working fluid circulation circle. The second turbine wheel is connected with the first turbine wheel and with the driven shaft by means of a non-reversible two-stage gear transmission.
EFFECT: structural simplification of the torque converter is achieved.
