FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, mainly intended for measurement of high temperatures and can be used in research of high-temperature flows, melts and gaseous media. Disclosed is a thermocouple primary converter, which consists of two coaxially arranged electrodes, a disc and an electrical insulating sleeve, in which the first electrode is made in the form of a hollow cylinder, the second electrode is located coaxially inside the first electrode, disc and electric insulating sleeve are arranged inside hollow cylinder of first electrode and fixed on its opposite ends, one of ends of second electrode is fixed in disk centre, and its other end is inserted inside electric insulating sleeve and has the possibility of free movement in it, wherein the first and second electrodes are made of pyrographite, the deposition plane of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first electrode, and the disc is made of graphite.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of measuring temperature with simultaneous increase in upper limit of measured temperature and higher reliability of thermocouple.
