FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment in the field of research of electric parameters of items and is intended for measurement of volumetric electric resistance of various items, including for items from high-conductivity materials. Substance of the method of measuring volumetric electrical resistance consists in the fact that the tested article is placed between two punches made with a configuration which reproduces the cross-section of the product, spacers are installed between puncheons and article from thermally expanded anisotropic pyrolytic graphite so that main plane of anisotropy is perpendicular to direction of electric current, measuring electrodes are made planar with minimum possible thickness and dimensions, installing electrodes between ends of article and gaskets, thermostatically controlled male dies with same temperature, depending on preset accuracy squeezing article with specified mechanical force, passing through article constant electric current, using the measuring electrodes, the voltage drop between the ends of the article is measured and the value of volumetric electrical resistance is calculated.

EFFECT: invention provides high accuracy of measurements with simultaneous expansion of the range of analyzed electrically conductive articles on high-conductivity products, having small or ultra-small volumetric electrical resistance.
