FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment in the field of contact thermometry and is intended to increase the measurement accuracy achieved by the automatic temperature gauge automatic self-calibration function, and can be used to measure temperature of objects, access to which for a number of reasons is limited. Disclosed is a self-calibrating temperature sensor, which comprises a thermoelectric converter, a cold junction unit, a microprocessor control unit and a cooling unit of a cold junction unit. At that, cold junction unit contains heater and reference thermosensitive element, cooling device of cold junction unit is installed on head of thermoelectric converter. Outlets of thermoelectric converter, heater, reference thermosensitive element and cooling device are connected to microprocessor control unit.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of measurements with simultaneous increase in the calibration interval.
