FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for sealing of production strings (PS) used in oil and gas industry. Inside PS, at first partial and not over the entire length expansion and tight pressing to its walls of repair metal plaster with elastic rings on outer surface, then injecting plugging composite mixture based on curable resins into cavity between unexpanded portion of plaster and PS, and at beginning of hardening composite mixture, final expansion of plaster over the entire length, as a result, part of composite mixture is pressed with expandable patch in defective zones of leakage of PS, and rest of composite mixture creates around patch protective layer, which enables to use plasters with smaller wall thickness.
EFFECT: higher reliability of PS sealing, longer service life of repair plaster and reduced power consumption.
