SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for seismic survey operations. Disclosed are a system and method of attenuating multi-component noise of a seismic wave field. Embodiments of the invention may include receiving, by one or more computing devices, seismic data, relating to seismic wave field, through at least one of plurality of channels from one or more stations of seismic sensors. Embodiments of the invention may further include identifying a noise component on at least one channel from a plurality of channels and attenuation of said noise component on said at least one channel from a plurality of channels based, at least in part, on seismic data received from said one or more stations of seismic sensors.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy and informativeness of the data obtained.
