SUBSTANCE: elastic venous compression orthosis intended for wearing in contact with a patient's skin is equipped with a device for measuring time, during which an orthosis is worn. Said device comprises a capacitive sensor which is adjustable to transmit a detection signal when the capacitance sensor capacitance value is within the operating range, and other sensor for detection and elimination of erroneous data from capacitive sensor. Kit for adhering to a treatment regimen under conditions wherein a patient wears an elastic venous compression orthesis comprising the above elastic venous compression orthesis and an external module, in particular a computer and/or a mobile telephone and/or a tablet. Said external module comprises a computer program including program code instructions for establishing communication, preferably remote communication, with communication module of measuring device and/or connection and/or disconnection of measuring device, and/or control of information exchange and, in particular, loading of information stored in memory device of measuring device. Method for improving observance of a treatment regimen based on the use of an elastic venous compression orthesis, and/or improving the performance of the elastic venous compression orthesis, wherein said method comprises the following sequential steps of providing the patient with said elastic venous compression orthesis, comprising a measuring device, loading data stored in a measuring device, preferably a computer, or a mobile phone or a tablet, preferably after the treatment period of more than one week, more preferably more than one month, or even more than three months, and analyzing the data to prepare a compliance assessment, and preferably a correlation between adherence to the treatment regimen, the orthesis characteristics and the therapeutic effect of the orthosis. Device for measuring time, during which an elastic venous compression orthesis is worn, comprises a capacitive sensor, controlled for transmission of detection signal only when capacity value of capacitance sensor is in operating range. Working range comprises, and preferably includes possible values of capacity during operation of orthesis, and other sensor for detection and exclusion of erroneous data from capacitance sensor.
EFFECT: inventions provide the possibility of improved observance of the treatment regimen and obtaining data on the conditions under which the patient wears the orthosis.
