SUBSTANCE: orthosis is selected from the group consisting of an elastic venous support orthosis or an elastic venous compression orthosis. The specified orthosis is intended for the treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower limb of the patient in the working position, in which it is installed through the hole on the specified lower limb. The specified orthosis has a corrugated upper part and a part of the lower leg. The corrugated top has an edge around the said hole. The orthosis in the working position extends substantially to the knee of the said lower limb. The height of the location of the front part (P_AV) of the edge of the corrugated top part is on average greater than the height of the location of the back part (P_AR) of the edge of the corrugated top part.

EFFECT: invention provides an opportunity to at least partially eliminate the problem associated with the fact that in a sitting position, when the leg is bent, the skin behind the knees often forms folds and the higher the level of compression created by the product, the more uncomfortable or even unbearable this phenomenon can be thus making it difficult to adhere to the treatment regimen.
