FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions which are used as working fluid required for correct operation of friction plates of torque transmission clutch. Fluid for friction couplings contains oil of group IV or mixture consisting of oil of group IV and oil of group V, diphenylamine as antioxidant additive, dispersant, which is succinimide additive C-5A or borated succinimide dispersant, anti-foaming additive PMS-200, copper salts with organic acids as extreme pressure and antiwear additives. At that kinematic viscosity of liquid at 100°C is 6.0 cSt, kinematic viscosity at 40°C is 30.0 cSt.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the fact that the copper film formed on the friction surface of the steel discs protects them from hydrogen wear and increases the area of actual contact in the friction engagement thereby increasing the torque transmitted by the coupling.
