METHOD OF PRODUCING SYNTHETIC COMPRESSOR OIL AND BASE OF SAID OIL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C10M101/00 C10M111/04 C10M169/04 C10M141/10 C10N40/08

Abstract RU 2738608 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lubricants and can be used for production of synthetic compressor oil for lubrication of air compressors of high pressure of naval facilities. Method of synthetic compressor oil base production consists in production of polyester of pentaerythritol and fatty carboxylic acids, obtained polyester is mixed with polyalphaolefin oil and alkylated naphthalene while heating. To obtain a polyester, a pentaerythritol is added to the reactor, selected from: monopentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, tripentaerythritol or a mixture in any combination, and a mixture of fatty carboxylic acids, C6-C12 in equal quantities by weight and esterification process is carried out at a reaction temperature of 240-250°C at atmospheric pressure to achieve content of reacted pentaerythritol in reaction mixture of not less than 90 wt%. Further, excess unreacted fatty carboxylic acids are removed by vacuum distillation at temperature of 240-300°C for at least 4 hours, neutralizing a residue of fatty carboxylic acids and filtering obtained polyester. Mixing of obtained polyether with polyalphaolefin oil and alkylated naphthalene is carried out in a reactor at temperature of 60-110°C polyalphaolefin oil and alkylated naphthalene for at least 1 hour to obtain an oil base. Components are used in the following amount, wt. parts: polyester 20-35, polyalphaolefin oil 25-40, alkylated naphthalene 25-40. Method for synthesis of synthetic compressor oil consists in the fact that functional additives are introduced into obtained base of oil at constant stirring, including antiwear and anti-scoring additive - dicresyl phosphate, antioxidant additives - 4-oxydiphenylamine or diphenylamine, alkylated with propylene trimers, and 4,4-methylene-bis (2,6-di-tertbutyl-phenol), corrosion inhibitors - succinic acid or acid ester of pentadecenylsuccinic acid, or succinimide additive and 1,2,3-benzotriazole and, last but not least, antifoam additives - polymethylsiloxane liquid and hydrotreated distillate of light oil fractions, and stirred while heating. After adding all additives, except for antifoam, mixing is carried out at temperature of 60-110°C for at least 30 minutes. Dispensing solution of antifoam additives is prepared by adding them to the selected part of the base of oil with added additives and dispersing antifoam additives in it at temperature of 40-60°C. Obtained dispersion solution is then added to the rest of the oil base with added additives and mixed at temperature of 60-110°C is not less than 1 hour until obtaining equal density of obtained oil in upper and lower part of reactor.

EFFECT: technical problem solved by the invention consists in expansion of arsenal of methods for production of synthetic compressor oil and base of this oil.
