FIELD: gas filtration.
SUBSTANCE: filtering material for gas contains surface accumulating filtering layer containing thin fibers having average diameter making less than 1 micron; recessed storage filtering layer, which contains high-efficiency glass-containing filtering layer containing glass fibers and multicomponent binder fibers; where the recessed accumulation filter layer has DEHS filtration efficiency of at least 55 %, and/or salt accumulation capacity of at least 1 g/m2 during the growth pressure was 500 Pa, relative to the initial value; and support layer. Layers are arranged in gas flow and arranged so that surface accumulating filtration layer is located most upstream. Gas filter element comprises a housing and a filtering material for gas. Described are methods of gas filtration with gas direction through filter element and filtering material.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency and efficiency of gas filtration, longer service life of filter.
