FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for open development of deep-lying rounded deposits. Proposed method comprises formation of working zone of pit, development of overburden rocks and provision of freight communication of working horizons of pit with surface. At that, during development of mining works, pit space is longitudinally divided into central zone with length corresponding to length of ore body, and two end zones, central zone is developed with application of longitudinal development system, in which working sites with temporary exits located on them at boundary with end zones are rebuilt into temporarily non-working sides, consisting of steeply inclined steps, in the bases of which stone-protective platforms are arranged, made with possibility of arrangement on them of rock mass falling from above, highway and stone-shelter embankments, on which hydraulic excavators of "reverse shovel" type are installed, upon achievement of critical boundaries of open pit on central surface by working sides of the quarry, steeply inclined steps are reactivated and developed, which are alternately turned downwards by horizontal layers using quarry excavators and hydraulic backhoe excavators, as the individual recesses of temporary non-working sides are deactivated and developed, limit pit sides are formed in the end zones, the spent rock mass is removed to the surface by temporary exit of the central zone.
EFFECT: technical result is the decrease of current overburden coefficient within the initial period of field development.
