FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: capsule containing substance for beverage preparation by means of extraction and/or dissolution of substance by supplying into capsule of liquid under pressure, comprises aluminum housing having central axis. Aluminum case is equipped with a lower part, a side wall and an outwardly projecting edge containing a curved outer edge. Outward projecting edge passes in transverse direction relative to central axis of capsule body. Capsule contains an aluminum cover attached to the projecting outward edge, which tightly closes the capsule. Capsule comprises a sealing element on an outwardly projecting edge to provide a liquid-impermeable contact with an external member of the beverage preparation device, when the capsule is located in the external element of the beverage preparation device, and the outer element is closed by the beverage preparation closing device element, such as an extracting plate of the beverage preparation device, such that the outwardly projecting edge of the capsule and at least a portion of the sealing element of the capsule are tightly engaged between the outer member and the closure member of the beverage preparation device. External element of the beverage preparation device contains an annular element having a central axis and a free contact end. Free contact end can be provided with multiple radially extending open grooves. Sealing element is made integral with outward protruding edge and comprises one annular projection, including an upper part of the protrusion extending in the axial direction to the lower part of the capsule body from the inside of the leg radially beyond the flat inner part of the edge, passing between the side wall of the capsule body and the protrusion, and from the outer part of the leg within the flat outer part of the edge passing between the protrusion and the curved outer edge. Flat outer part of the edge is located along the axis at a distance from the flat inner part of the edge towards the lower part of the capsule body, or flat outer part of edge and flat inner part of edge are located on same line, and wherein radially outer wall of protrusion is oriented in transverse direction relative to flat outer part of edge.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides sealing both at relatively low pressure of liquid, and at high pressure.
