SUBSTANCE: system for measuring distance of vision between eyes of subject and one or more objects comprises distance measuring sensor, made with possibility and intended for measurement of distance of vision between eyes of subject and one or more objects, memory unit configured to store measured vision distances in a plurality of measured vision distances, data processing unit is configured to determine statistical distribution of measured vision distances from multiple measured distances of vision. Vision distance system is used between the eyes of the subject and one or more objects for selecting and adjusting the refraction solution individually in cataract surgery. Method of measuring distance of vision between eyes of subject and one or more objects comprises steps, on which the distance of vision is measured by a sensor for measuring distances of a system for measuring distances between eyes of a subject and one or more objects, by means of memory unit, measured distances of vision in multiple measured distances of vision and determining, by means of the data processing system of the distance measurement system, the statistical distribution of the measured vision distances from the plurality of measured vision distances. Holder can be combined with and/or installed on it a distance measurement system. Besides, the holder is made with possibility of folding or bending. Capsule for a system for measuring distance of vision between the eyes of a subject and one or more objects is configured to receive the holder.
