METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC DYSTROPHIC DISEASES OF VULVA AND UTERINE CERVIX Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61N7/00

Abstract RU 2738550 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to gynaecology, and concerns treating patients with chronic dystrophic diseases of vulva and uterine cervix. That is ensured by ultrasound ablation with focused ultrasound using the HAIFU CZF SEAPOSTAR therapeutic system, (HAIFU MEDICAL TECHNOLOGI, PRC). Exposure is performed in the following mode: optimal power (Pt) - for operation on uterine neck 4–4.5 W, for operation on vulva - 3–3.5 W; frequency (MHz) - indicated on reusable cartridge of handpiece for neck - 9.6 MHz, for vulva - 10.5 MHz, using a disposable cover sensor on a working focusing nozzle directed perpendicularly, duration of procedure is 5–35 minutes. That is followed by the cold topically applied to the vulva or vaginal ice bubble minus 7 °C for 10 minutes, followed by administration of Tambukan therapeutic mud solution or Tambuil suppository, depending on the localization of the pathological area, the vulva application on night for 1 month, or the suppository introduction of the suppositories during the cervix for the night in vagina for 10 days.

EFFECT: focused high-intensity ultrasonic energy converted to thermal energy affects the pathological focus of the dermal layer without damaging the epidermis, improves blood circulation and innervation, which provides effective treatment at any stage of the disease with minimal side effects.
