FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynecology. When treating a patient with uterine myoma uterine having fulfilled or not planning the reproductive function, uterine volume to 750 cm3, a diameter of the dominant myomatous nodule 6 to 10 cm, if at least one arterial vessel of diameter 0.2 cm and more is present in its structure, two-stage treatment is performed. First, X-ray endovascular selective embolisation of the arteries feeding the myomatous nodules is performed, and ultrasound ablation of myomatous nodules 30–45 days later.
EFFECT: method enables providing simultaneous minimally invasive treatment with higher effectiveness, consisting in stable regression of myomatous knot sizes and clinical myoma symptoms.
