FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing hybrid electrolytic membranes based on cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol, modified with aminosulphonic acid and hydrolysed tetraethoxysilane. In this method 10 % solution of polyvinyl alcohol in dimethylsulphoxide is stirred for 1 hour at 80 °C after and for 12 hours, 0.003–0.008 mol of aminosulphonic acid is added thereto. At the same temperature, a water-withdrawing agent is added in form of p-toluenesulphonic acid and a cross-linking agent in form of 0.011 mol of furfural and held for 12 hours. Then 0.0007–0.001 moles of tetraethoxysilane and 0.002–0.008 moles of 2M HCl solution are added to the obtained solution. Then, the obtained organo-inorganic ion-conducting material is cast on the surface of the petri dish and held in air until its polymerisation.
EFFECT: obtained hybrid electrolytic membranes based on cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol, modified with aminosulphonic acid and hydrolysed tetraethoxysilane, have high ionic conductivity in a sufficiently wide range of moisture (from 20 to 100 %) and temperature (from 20 to 160 °C).
