FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of purifying an extracted hydrocarbon gas by removing an aqueous component therefrom and can be used in preparing gas for transport. Method of preparing hydrocarbon gas comprises feeding a liquid hydrate inhibitor into the stream of gas to be prepared, cooling of said gas, separation of cooled gas from liquid phase, supply of condensed hydrocarbons and prepared gas to consumer, and regeneration inhibitor for hydrate inhibitor. Inhibitor consisting of a mixture of two components is used, one of which is an aqueous solution of ethanol with concentration of 0.20–0.95, and the second is an aqueous solution of glycerol with concentration of 0.25–0.67. First component is evaporated in gas flow to produce cold, and second component absorbs water from it. When regenerating the inhibitor, the first component is stripped from the second component, increasing concentration of the latter, then water is separated from the first component, increasing its concentration; then concentrated components are mixed in range of ratios from 1÷99 to 99÷1 to obtain a two-component hydrate inhibitor, which is again fed into the stream of the gas being prepared.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of anthropogenic load on ecosystem and higher efficiency of gas treatment.
