FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of using a high-current isochronous cyclotron Η-minus ions by creating two simultaneously operating proton beams, one of which is intended for use in oncophthalmology. Proton beams are output from cyclotron by recharging method on two targets out of carbon material. One of the targets is made in the form of a plate from carbon foil, and the other one, for a medical beam, is made of a carbon rod sharpened in the form of a needle. Independent proton beams energy is independently controlled.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility to use cyclotron without forced reduction of design intensity value.
