FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for generation and manipulation of proton beam. Method of target irradiation includes steps of generating proton beam with help of cyclotron, obtaining first data for energy selection system, which includes depth of said target, selection of energy level of plurality of protons with help of energy selection system on basis of first data, direction of proton beam from above cyclotron via beam channel to scanning system, obtaining of second data for scanning system, which includes pair of transverse coordinates and dose of target, direction of proton beam by magnetic structure to target section defined by second data, wherein magnetic structure comprises bidirectional magnets and separate power supply sources for magnets, corresponding to each of bidirectional magnets, irradiation of target on basis of second data and control of separate power supply sources for magnetic structure on basis of position of beam in target. Device for irradiating target includes cyclotron, energy selection system, scanning system containing magnetic structure, beam transmission channel to scanning system, separate power supply sources for magnets for each bidirectional magnet, wherein every separate power supply source for magnets is controlled on basis of energy and position of proton beam on target.
EFFECT: use of inventions enables higher accuracy of radiation dose delivery to cancer cells.
