FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be used for ultrasonic examination of patients diagnosed with endometrial cancer. It is followed by double contrast control under ultrasonography based on ultrasonic examination. That is followed by a transabdominal examination with a filled bladder in a grey scale and a real time scale with a working frequency of 3.5 MHz and determining an overall picture of pelvic organs and their topography-anatomical relationship. That is followed by a transabdominal examination with a bladder emptied sensor at an operating frequency of 5 MHz to assess the condition of the endometrium, its thickness and degree of involvement of the myometrium in the tumour process. After vaginal antiseptic treatment, a cavitary catheter is introduced into the uterine cavity and 0.9 % isotonic NaCl solution is introduced in volume of 50–60 ml and performing ultrasound examination in grey scale and real time scale using a transvaginal sensor with an operating frequency of 5 MHz. Location of the catheter, the presence of fluid in the uterine cavity in adequate volume, the condition of the endometrium, the boundaries of the tumour process are determined. That is followed by introducing an ultrasonic contrast in the cubital vein in amount of 1.8 ml to 5 ml bolus, and immediately after the introduction of the contrast, 10 ml of normal saline are introduced, and after the onset of the venous phase, a time-intensity curve is analysed to select several endometrial and myometrium sections. Quantitative difference in the degree of accumulation of the contrast is determined: the intensity peak, the time to the intensity peak and the curve slope, after which the obtained results are compared to the data of the previous stages of the study.
EFFECT: method provides clear visualization of a zone of interest and more accurate determination of the size of tumour formation in the endometrium, its connection with an anterior and/or posterior leaf of the endometrium, and degree of distribution of the process on the myometrium due to double contrasting under the control of ultrasonography.
