SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing an antiviral agent based on a sodium deoxyribonucleate complex with iron. Method of producing an antiviral agent based on a complex of sodium deoxyribonucleate with iron is carried out by dissolving a pharmaceutically acceptable water-soluble iron (III) salt and sodium desoxyribonucleate in water for injection to a certain concentration, prepared solution is held for a certain period of time before the complex formation reaction, the obtained solution is stabilized and preserved, heated with subsequent clarifying and sterilizing filtration of the solution.
EFFECT: above described method will allow effectively preventing self-decomposition and destruction of the obtained complex in time.
