SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Intelligent document processing method comprises steps of obtaining at least one document image, recognizing symbols on the document image and converting them into text information, based on text information obtained at the previous step, determining the type of document, extracting from the text information a set of entities based on the type of document, comparing a set of entities with a reference set of entities for a given document, based on the results of comparing said sets of entities, generating document processing results.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency and higher accuracy of detecting errors in documents.
