FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing equipment for confectionary products and can be used for automation of chocolate processing. Milling machine for processing chocolate comprises a housing made of two partially separated compartments, one of which is a processing area and is equipped with a table with clamping mechanisms and a transparent cover with gas stops, and in the second one there are electronic control means and mechanical control means kinematically connected to the milling cutter fixed on the spindle for its movement along the guide rails of three axes X, Y and Z in the processing zone. Spindle is made high-revolving. Milling cutter is single- or double-start. Guide rails of axes X and Y are located above level of processing surface. Spindle is configured to select the speed of its rotation and the cutter is configured to select the rate of its supply so that the temperature of the cutter does not exceed the melting point of the chocolate.
EFFECT: result is higher rate of processing and quality of manufactured articles.
