FIELD: turning equipment.
SUBSTANCE: milling machine comprises a spindle for rotation of a cutting tool, a working table, cutting tool movement mechanisms arranged thereon along X, Y and Z coordinate axes, at that said spindle is arranged on Z-axis displacement mechanism, controller to control cutting tool displacement, current transducer and frequency converter. At that, the control controller is connected through the appropriate servo-drivers to the servo-motors of all mechanisms of the cutting tool movement, as well as with information output of current sensor, which by its power output through frequency converter is connected to spindle, which rotates cutting tool. At the same time the frequency converter is connected to the control controller by its control input, and the current sensor power input is connected to the machine power supply source. Each movement mechanism consists of a base and a movable platform, besides, on the basis of each movement mechanism the servomotor of this movement mechanism is fixed. Each movement mechanism comprises a ball-screw gear, the screw of which is connected to the shaft of its servo motor, and the nut is connected to the moving platform of this movement mechanism.
EFFECT: achieving optimum load on cutting tool.
