SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a wind turbine with low emission of electromagnetic radiation. Disclosed is wind turbine (1) with variable rotor speed with rated power of more than 1 MW and rotor diameter of at least 50 m, comprising several main parts, such as tower (2), nacelle (3), which can be combined with direct drive generator (4), hub (5) and at least one blade (6), further comprising transformer (7) and main converter (8) for adapting alternating frequency of generator energy to network frequency, wherein wind turbine is configured to reduce emission of electromagnetic (EM) radiation, particularly in range of 10 to 250 MHz, wherein wind turbine comprises first main part and second main part, wherein said parts are hingedly connected to each other, and wherein any of said parts comprises a shield for electromagnetic radiation, which surrounds a device which can be a source of electromagnetic radiation, at that, near the articulated joint, screen (30, 31, 33, 34) extends to a certain extent towards the hinged joint center of rotation and is grounded (32, 35), in particular through contact rings, note here that screens may contain unshielded regions with maximum unshielded distance of less than 1 m, in particular, less than 0.3 m, and more particularly, less than 0.1 m and, preferably, less than 0.03 m.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of electromagnetic radiation emission.
