SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of cable kinks monitoring that includes stages of layout of the cable having an external surface and passing along the longitudinal direction, at that the cable is equipped with at least one identification tag, preferably an RF tag, located in an angular position in cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and this one tag stores the identification code and may transmit an electromagnetic signal of this tag; polling of at least one identification tag to receive an electromagnetic signal; and detection of the tag an electromagnetic signal; wherein the stage of the tag electromagnetic signal detection includes a stage of the identification code reading and determination of the angular position for at least one identification tag. In regard to other aspect the present invention is related to the system of kinks monitoring for a cable with at least one identification tag. The cable is equipped with a variety of identification tags preferably, at that all tags in this variety are placed at respective angular positions.
EFFECT: ensuring operation of cables in heave-duty modes and increasing their reliability and environmental resistivity, including resistivity to tensile force and twisting moment, and providing quantitative information in regard to twisting force applied to the cable.
