FIELD: wind industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a lifting system for installing a wind turbine and to a method for a lifting operation. The lifting system is designed for the installation, decommissioning and maintenance of the wind turbine (3). The turbine contains a base (11), a tower (4), a rotating part and a rotor with at least one blade (7). The lifting system contains the first lifting device (1), which contains parameters for creating a bearing connection with the already built-in part of the turbine (3), which is located above the base (11). Proposed is the relationship between the maximum carrying capacity of the device (1) and the mass of the heaviest part. The heaviest part is the one that is lifted as a single part and which belongs to the turning part of the turbine (3).
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at providing efficient installation of both floating and offshore wind turbines without the need for a large general-purpose crane.
