SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication systems, more specifically to methods for uplink communication in a shared band of a radio-frequency spectrum. In wireless communication method in user equipment, UE, receiving (1005) of at least one uplink grant from plurality of uplink grants for a reference scheduled transmission packet, including a plurality of adjacent transmission time intervals, TTI, transmitted in shared band of radio-frequency spectrum. Transmitting (1010) during at least one TTI reference scheduled transmission packet, wherein the transmission begins during the first transmission TTI, receiving (1015) an indication of the reference TTI, wherein the reference TTI is used for transmission by the UE during the target transmission scheduled packet. Determining (1020) the size of the competition window used by the UE to compete for accessing the shared radio frequency band, wherein the determination is based, at least in part, on the relationship between the first scheduled TTI, the reference TTI and the first transmission TTI.

EFFECT: technical result is improved communication by determining the size of the competition window.
