FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method used in a user terminal (UE), controlling the size of a competitive window for the Listen Before Speaking (LBT) procedure. Method comprises steps of: transmitting a first stack of uplink subframes after performing a first LBT procedure, wherein the LBT procedure is carried out using a contention window size for the LBT procedure; determining a reference subframe based on the first burst, wherein the reference subframe is associated with the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) reference procedure identifier; receiving scheduling information for a second packet of uplink subframes, wherein scheduling information comprises, for each subframe, an associated HARQ request procedure identifier and associated new data indicator (NDI); when the UE determines that the HARQ request procedure identifier associated with at least one of the subframes from the second packet matches the HARQ request procedure identifier, if the associated NDI indicator indicates new data, resets the size of the competitive window for the LBT procedure to a minimum value, and when specifying the associated NDI retransmission indicator, increasing the size of the competitive window for the LBT procedure; and performing the second LBT procedure using the specified size of the competitive window, wherein at the size of the competitive window resets the size of the competitive windows for the LBT procedures associated with all priority classes used by the UE.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of throughput capacity of uplink.
