FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and is intended for processing information for a base station side and for a user side. According to one embodiment, the base station side electronic device comprises a processing circuit. Processing circuit is configured to obtain information relating to the frequency of successful uplink transmission attempts in the unlicensed frequency band of at least one user device unit, wherein the user device unit performs a channel discovery process to perform carrier detection on the unlicensed bandwidth, and the channel discovery process includes a randomly set holding interval process having a variable competition window size. Processing circuit is additionally configured to correct, on the basis of said information, the size of the competition window of the user device unit. Processing circuit is further configured to perform control such that the user device unit is notified of the corrected size of the competition window or the value of the counter of the randomly set holding interval generated based on the corrected size of the competition window.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling a randomly set holding interval having a variable size of the competition window.
