FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a dry extract of crested dog's-tail for farm animals and poultry, which includes grinding the raw material and wetting it in a water-ethanol solution, transfer into an extractor, pouring with a water-ethanol solution, heating and carrying out extraction under vacuum, the ready extract is drained, and the mass of raw material is repeatedly poured with a water-ethanol solution, heated and extracted under vacuum, the extract is also drained. At the third stage, the obtained mass is poured with water and extracted; the extract is also drained. Obtained extracts are combined and concentrated in a vacuum, and the thick extract is dried to a dry state. Raw materials in the form of dry leaves and panicles of crested dog's-tail are wetted with 50% water-ethanol solution, pouring is carried out with water-ethanol solution at the first stage of 50%, and at the second stage—70%. At the third stage, extraction is carried out at relative pressure of (−0.89)... (−0.93) kgf/cm2.
EFFECT: invention allows to optimize modes of water-ethanol extraction and drying, to reduce consumption of reagents and duration of process, to increase output of end product and its quality.
