FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for reconstruction of cotyloid cavity in hip dysplasia complicated by discongruence of articular surfaces. Head is centred in hollow and osteotomy of pubic, ischial and iliac bones is performed. That is followed by anterior and outer slope of acetabular fragment, fixed by rods. Thereafter, 3–4 cm-long groove is formed in the lateral portion of the supra-acetabular zone above the attachment point of the capsule in parallel to the plane of the arch; a segment of the cortical plate of the iliac bone wing is placed therein to ensure complete coverage of the head. This fragment is fixed by means of an autograft and spokes. Achieved position is stabilized by Ilizarov's apparatus.
EFFECT: method allows improving conditions of hip joint operation due to provision of favourable geometrical interrelations in hip joint, improvement of head cover coating by cavity roof, restoration of joint relations and formation of congruent articular surfaces.
