SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of transmitting personalized content to an electronic device associated with a user, the method is carried out in a personalized content system, personalized content system includes: a data transmission network; a network resource server, on which the network resource is located and which is accessible through the data transmission network; electronic device configured to obtain access to a network resource through a data network, a personalized content server, connected to data transmission network and available to network resource server and electronic device through data transmission network; a network resource having a link to common content and a link to personalized content; wherein the shared content reference is intended to access a portion of shared content located on the network resource server, which is intended for displaying in form of part of network resource when displayed by electronic device, and link to personalized content is intended for access to part of personalized content, located on server of personalized content, which is intended for display in form of part of network resource when displayed by electronic device; wherein the method includes: obtaining, by the server, personalized content from the network resource server, a proxy request for the network resource, which was created based on the resource request for the network resource, received from the electronic device, as well as a proxy request for content for the network resource, wherein the content proxy request was created by the network resource server in response to receiving the content retrieval request, which was created by the electronic device in response to a plurality of links that have been obfuscated by the personalized content server; based on proxy request to network resource request by server personalized content of network resource from network resource server; parsing, personalized content server, network resource content, to determine a plurality of links contained therein, the plurality of links including a link to common content and a link to personalized content; execution of the obfuscation procedure by the personalized content server, which is applied to the entire plurality of links in such a way that: each link from a plurality of links is obfuscated using a predetermined link pattern, which is based at least in part on the network resource server domain name; execution of a de-obfuscation procedure of the link by the personalized content server, which is applied to the entire plurality of links that have been obfuscated to extract de-obfuscated links, including a link to common content and a link to personalized content; and based on reference to common content extraction of part of common content, and based on reference to personalized content, retrieval of part of personalized content; transmitting part of common content and part of personalized content to electronic device, associated with user.

EFFECT: technical result is to expand the range of technical means for transmitting personalized content to an electronic device.
